As I entered Hotel Smeraldo, I was instantly enveloped in the warm and inviting atmosphere of this charming Roman getaway. the narrow alleys surrounding the hotel were buzzing with life, offering a true taste of the Eternal City's vibrant culture. the rooftop terrace, with its stunning view of San Carlo's dome, was the perfect spot to unwind and sip on a cocktail as the sun dipped below the horizon. Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us and provided excellent guidance on exploring the area. Our room, adorned with sleek and modern decor, boasted a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, ensuring our entertainment needs were met. the plush bedding and comfortable pillows guaranteed a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. Every morning, we were treated to a decadent continental buffet breakfast, featuring artisanal pastries, freshly brewed coffee, and a variety of delectable options. the friendly staff, especially the Asian gentleman who expertly crafted our cappuccinos, added a personal touch to the dining experience. The hotel's proximity to Campo de' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon made exploring Rome a breeze. We enjoyed strolling through the historic streets, discovering quaint boutiques, local eateries, and the bustling market at Campo de' Fiori. Overall, Hotel Smeraldo surpassed our expectations with its impeccable service, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple seeking a romantic escape, or a family on vacation, this charming hotel is sure to make your stay in Rome unforgettable.
